WSOP
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is the leading world poker championship. It envolves a series of poker tournaments. The WSOP was founded in Las Vegas, Nevada and is officially owned by the Caesars Entertainment Corporation (which owns the casino Caesar’s Palace amongst others).
Multi-million dollar prize
The winner of each event wins a WSOP bracelet and a cash prize. The total prize money is calculated by the number of entries. The winner of the tournament can call himself or herself the official world champion and is guaranteed to win a multi-million dollar prize.
